Love Charity Dinner 2008

We are organising a 5-table Fund-Raising Dinner entitled "LOVE Charity Dinner 2008" on Saturday, 22nd March 2008 at 7pm @ The Arts House at The Old Parliament Building (1 Old Parliament Lane Singapore 179429).
The funds raised at this event will be channelled towards the following 3 Charities:
- Sree Narayana Mission Home For The Aged Sick – Caring for the sick and aged since 1948.
- Kampung Senang - "Village of Inner Peace" – Serving the community and environment through holistic and natural approach since 1999.
- Yong-En Care Centre – Touching the hearts and lives of people in Chinatown and beyond since 1996.
- Autographed 1st Day Cover (2008 Rat Series) by President Nathan
- Mr Benny Ong - Singapore renowned Fashion Designer, contributed 2 woven artworks
- Mr Tan Khim Ser – President of Life Art Society - Singapore renowned Calligrapher and Artist, contributed one calligraphy art and one water-colour painting
- Ms Aziza Ali - Singapore Celebrity Malay Chef who turned Artist, contributed 2 acrylic paintings
- Mr Chen Mo – a highly accomplished Chinese Artist, contributed 2 water colour painting
- Ms Margie Kusuma – an high profile Indonesian Socialite cum Artist, contributed 1 oil painting
- A rare 1927 Swift Vintage car and a 1972 Mercedes 350SL Classic car
- World War II 60th Anniversary 1st Day Cover (2005) – A series of 6
- A strand of Tahitian Natural Coloured Pearl (weight: 18.6 momme)
- 8 strands of Australian Blue Sapphire (600.70 carats)
Our targeted fund-raise for this LOVE Charity Dinner is $150,000/-. Proceeds will be distributed equally to the 3 beneficiaries and the accounts will be audited by C N Tiew & Co.

On behalf of the organising committee, we would like to invite you & your spouse to attend this LOVE Charity Dinner as our special VIP guests.
This Charity Dinner shall be a sumptuous 5-course fine dinning dinner provided by Restaurant 1827 Thai offering modern Thai cuisine fine dinning with free flow of drinks and wine. It will be attended by prominent businessmen and personalities in the region.
The honourable Guest-Of-Honour is Dr Lim Wee Kiak, Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC.
Your presence shall be our great pleasure and will certainly aid to the success of this meaningful fund-raising dinner and ultimately provide the 3 Charities with the necessary funds for their respective community programmes.
