Through Central Singapore CDC and Yong-En Care Centre, we hosted a Charity Steamboat Luncheon for about 120 elderly residing in Chinatown (mostly are Samsui women and Ma Jie who have no family and are living alone - Mostly are in their 80s and some are in their 90s.) on the 8th March 2008 (Sat) from 2.00pm till 4.30pm.

immediately after the Countdown Party 2008 on the 31st Dec 2007.
Re-dedication of Love Ceremony" for 120 couples on the 1st minute of Jan
2008 and be blessed by all the different religious leaders.
It is the most important thing to do for the coming New Year and nothing
beats a strong and stable loving relationship between husbands and wives /
couples, rather than having each individual resolution. Isn't LOVE the most
important aspect of all areas of our lives?
It is an event not to be missed by anyone.

LOVE A-Fair @ Singapore Expo on the 30th Dec (Sunday) at 2pm.
This Family Cooking Competition aims to foster family bonding by having all family members to prepare a family dish together. It also allows the family to have some fun in the process of making the recipe right while preparing their family dish.
It involves inter-generational bonding and passing down of family secret recipe.

MediaCorp Channel 8 is producing an 8-episode Chinese infotainment series "Celebrations". This programme, to be televised in Jan/Feb 2008, aims at introducing the customs and traditions practiced by different races in celebrations of various occasions. With most episodes focusing on weddings, some episodes will be dedicated to celebrating the golden years, birth and (hopefully) cultural celebration by the new citizens of Singapore. This series will have a strong human interest, bringing out the necessity of family bonding and the beauty of cultural diversity.

Love Foundation is hosting for about 70 Autistic Kids from Pathlight School with their families and another 50 elderly from Thong Kheng (Radin Mas) SAC to celebrate Mid-Autumn Celebration on the 25th September (Tuesday) at The Arts House (Old Parliament House).
Our objective is to bring joy and love to them during this celebration, as well as create opportunity for inter-generational bonding.
We have lined-up an interesting 1 hour programme at the Play Den @ The Arts House (Old Parliament Building) before we proceed to dinner; then lantern parade around the vicinity and along Singapore River.
